The 2011 garlic harvest has begun. We started today with the Chesnok Red growing in Garlic Field 5, Row A. It looked to be the most mature. This row was planted last fall with #28 of seed cloves. From this, we gathered our first wagon load of freshly dug garlic which will be sorted and cured (air-dried) in the drying barn.
