What do we call it?
It’s super tasty, and it’s a great local fresh vegetable. And, it’s not the same thing as garlic scapes. But, we had a bumper crop this year and this was a perfect use for some of it.
And, our harvest went to Olga Gallery, Cafe, & Bistro.
Wonder what menu delight Olga’s chef will create? Of course delicious food, and locally sourced. But maybe, a nice spring salad or Green Garlic Tabbouleh or a spicy Green Garlic Soup.
It’s called garlic spring greens. Or are they Green Garlic as in Green Onions song?
